Using Conversational Lists in TalkWhy
TalkWhy's Conversational Lists help you organize WhatsApp chats into custom groups. Instead of scrolling through one long inbox, you create focused lists that match your business workflow.
What Are Conversational Lists
Conversational Lists are custom chat folders you create yourself. You decide what goes into each list based on your needs. For example, you can have one list for new customers, another for pending orders, and another for VIP clients. This keeps your team organized and helps you find the right conversation instantly.
Common List Types You Can Create
Create lists based on what matters to your business. Some popular examples include New Customers, Pending Orders, Daily Follow Ups, VIP Clients, Support Tickets, and Team Assignments. You can also build lists around specific products, locations, or campaign sources.
How to Create a Conversational List
Step 1: Log in to your TalkWhy dashboard at talkwhy.com.
Step 2: Go to the Conversational Lists section from the main menu.
Step 3: Click Create New List and give it a clear name your team will understand.
Step 4: Choose how chats get added to this list. You can filter by customer tags, chat status, assigned team member, keywords in messages, or time since last reply.
Step 5: Save the list. Matching chats will automatically appear here.
Step 6: Drag and drop chats into lists manually if needed, or edit list rules anytime.
How to Use Lists Daily
Start your morning by opening your most important list first. Check Daily Follow Ups to see who needs a callback. Open Pending Orders to push stalled sales forward. Review VIP Clients to give your best customers priority attention. Assign chats from Support Tickets to the right team members. Close resolved chats to keep each list current and manageable.
Team Collaboration Tips
Assign specific lists to different team members so everyone knows their focus area. Leave internal notes on chats so teammates see context without reading the full history. Use list names that everyone understands to avoid confusion. Review list performance weekly to spot bottlenecks or overloaded team members.
Benefits of Using Conversational Lists
Your team responds faster when conversations are grouped by priority. No customer gets lost in a crowded inbox. Managers see workload distribution clearly. New team members learn your workflow quickly by following the list structure. You spend less time searching and more time helping customers.
